Art Classes Are Back in Full Swing!
Let’s Create Together This Winter🎨🖌️

I hope this finds you all well as we get through the first week of 2025 and settle back into routine. Wanted to share my full winter art class schedules with you, as I’ve got some new classes all around town and registration is starting to fill up! There’s a little something for everyone in my winter sessions, whether you’re a seasoned artist or someone looking to pick up a brush for the very first time.

This year, I’ll be teaching in two places close to my heart:

My New Home Studio:
Small, semi-private classes (max. 3 students) for experienced acrylic artists who want focused attention.

Local Community Centres:
Starting next week, I’ll be at Dunbar, West Point Grey, and Brock House offering a variety of classes to suit all skill levels.

My winter class schedules are attached, and you can also view them anytime on my website: Georgia Youngs Art Class Schedule.

A little info about my classes:
Home Studio Classes:
Mentorship-style lessons at my home studio (4080 West 35th Ave. Vancouver) tailored to semi-experienced/experienced acrylic artists. It’s an intimate setting where you’ll get plenty of one-on-one guidance. Classes start January 16th/17th and run weekly through March 20th/21st (8 classes for $400). Email me directly at georgiayoungs@shaw.ca. to register or inquiry about my art school sessions.

Community Centre Classes:
If you love the energy of a group setting, come join me at these wonderful community centres this winter:

  • Brock House: A warm and welcoming space for creative exploration. Members can sign up here. (registration for non-members starts Jan. 15).
  • Dunbar Community Centre: Discover diverse art programs to spark your imagination. Register here.
  • West Point Grey (Aberthau): I’ll be teaching Creative Painting and Creative Drawing—two great ways to grow your skills. Sign up for Creative Painting here and Creative Drawing here. Each class offers something special, and I’d love to see you there!

And for families with neurodivergent children or youths, I’m also running my “No More Scribbling” program again this season. If you’re interested, please reach out to me directly at georgiayoungs@shaw.ca.

My website has all the info you need, so don’t forget to check here for updates, and of course – follow me on Instagram or Facebook for a peek into my artistic adventures and new endeavours!

Winter is the perfect time to embrace your creative side, and I’d love to have you join me in making some beautiful art. Whether it’s at my cozy studio or in a lively community class, let’s create together this season! See you soon.
