Georgia 2023 Update, June

Join me for an exciting and artistic summer!

Just like that we are halfway through the year! And summer certainly crept up on us early with all the sunshine we’ve been getting. Hope you’re all enjoying it while it lasts!

With summer upon us, I thought I’d share my upcoming events for the next few months, from workshops, to art classes, to my annual summer show/sale… never a dull moment around here. And looking forward to having you all join me at some of these events! Let’s get those creative juices flowing and have an artistic summer together 😄

First up – this Sunday, June 11th will be my 4th, FREE Art Salon with the theme of revisiting my Old Masters (aka Museum Replicas), and discussing the works and techniques of renowned artists like Rembrandt, DaVinci and more. The conversation is bound to go in all sorts of directions with this theme and I’m excited to share our thoughts and insight around these amazing pieces. A few spots left for this one and capacity is limited so please email me to register.

Lots of opportunity to create with me this summer through my workshops and adult art classes. Go back to the basics, or explore the painting techniques of artists like Picasso, David Milne and Georgia O’Keefe! Or work on your own piece through a series of 3 classes in July or August. Whatever you’re looking to learn, whatever level of experience you’re at, there’s something for everyone in my art classes! I’ve attached my schedule for the coming months, so have a look and if you have any questions, please feel free to email me anytime. And register soon as space is limited!

And finally – drumroll please – I’m very excited to share that my Annual Summer Show & Sale will be taking place on Saturday July 15th from 11am to 3pm!  I’ll be showcasing and selling all of my newest projects, along with my other available pieces, of course.  There will be lots of sales for pieces under $300. PLUS, some more extra exciting news – this year I’ll also be collaborating with other artists who will showcase their work as well:
  • Azumi Nagai – a very talented fellow floral artist
  • Pauline Willems – a fantastic potter with some beautiful ceramic pieces
  • Marilyn Bowman – an artist I’ve mentored over the past few years who has a real talent for showcasing her trips and garden through bold paintings

I look forward to this event each year and hope you can drop by and support us local female artists 🥰

That’s all for now!  But you know me – always looking for new, thrilling artistic adventures, so stay tuned and stay connected for what’s to come.

And please get in touch if you have any questions about classes, events, or anything art-related that I can help with!  Love hearing from you and always appreciate the connection.

Happy Start of Summer, everyone! 🌞
